Something slightly different today, a site seed -- a door into another world. What do you see? Where does it take you?

Enormous, granite outcroppings stretched across the canyon walls and blocked the warming rays of sunlight. Their mighty fingers burst through the sandy ground below. Fierce and ominous, they clawed at the very heavens above. The rolling water of the stream was a mere reminder of the once powerful river that had carved this path through the earth. It stood as a testament to the raw power of nature, this canyon that so many adventures sought. Breathtaking as it was, the canyon held many ancient skeletons and even older secrets.

The prince knew he was correct -- the Tiraeans had betrayed them before, and would do so again. There was little hope in this gesture of peace being genuine. He was so weary of the sorrow that never let go. Maybe the humans, so familiar with death, would let him forget, finally. "I will go. Twenty who are about to pass shall follow. I doubt we will come back."

He raged: "I will not be refused!" The pirate slammed his fist down on the chair and closed the comm channel. The crew flinched, but no one interrupted -- it was safer to allow the Captain to rail. "Impertinent rock hoppers! Don't they know they're dealing with Caspan Skar, lord of the Mala Expanse!"

The drone of crickets filled the air. Cal sipped water and considered the road beyond the small copse of trees. Even in the shade the air threatened to boil them in their skins. The heat and humidity made it difficult to think, let alone walk and carry a pack under the blistering sun. "They've got scouts and worse out combing for us. We NEED to get to Carille! But I just can't move..."

The black brackish goo rose to his knees and threatened to hold him in place, but he pressed forward -- one slow step after the other. His foot crushed something better left unseen buried in the mud and the warrior grimaced. "We should leave Khorbin to his fate!" he growled to his companions.

Henry sat down on the ground, and took a few minutes to look at the will-o-wisps floating about in the heart of the graveyard. Sometimes, you just had to wonder. Were those the souls of the restless dead, or just the work of physics? In the end, it didn't matter much. Getting back up, Henry took his pistol out of his holster and walked slowly towards the tomb of his father. The gravestone was massive granite, with the words "Mark Newman, loving husband" engraved upon it. Henry felt tears of anger welling up in his eyes, but fought them back.
