We've been trying to keep it simple with the contests over the last couple months - pick a genre and let you run with it. It started with modern fantasy, the last was epic fantasy, and I think we'd be remiss to not give lasers, star cruisers, and bug eyed aliens their time in the sun, or suns, or neutron stars, or whatever.

"Science fiction writers foresee the inevitable, and although problems and catastrophes may be inevitable, solutions are not."
- Isaac Asimov

This months genre is science fiction. Space opera, Hard SF, Cyberpunk, Military SF, Post Apoc, Sword and Planet, and the list goes on. The field is as limitless as the heavens.
